Responsibilities
- Planprepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meetthe needs of all students
- Monitor and assessstudent progress providing regular feedback and support to ensureacademic growth
- Implement and uphold schoolpolicies and procedures fostering a positive and safe learningenvironment
- Collaborate with colleagues tocreate a strong sense of community within the phase and promotecrosscurricular learningopportunities
- Communicate regularly andeffectively with parents and carers providing updates on studentprogress and addressing any concerns orqueries
- Participate in regular professionaldevelopment activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updatedwith educationalpractices
Requirements
- Bachelorsdegree in Education or a relatedfield
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orequivalent certification
- Proven experience as aYear 5 teacher
- Excellent knowledge of theprimary education curriculum and current teachingmethods
- Strong classroom management skills andability to create a positive and inclusive learningenvironment
- Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build positiverelationships with students colleagues andparents
- Commitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment and willingness to learn and implement new teachingstrategies
- High level of organizational skillsand ability to manage multiple taskseffectively
