Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive Maths lessons to students in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for Maths.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents / guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Maths education, attending professional development sessions as required.
Requirements
- Qualified Maths Teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the primary or secondary level.
- Exceptional knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents / guardians.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
