On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in the vibrant Tower Hamlets borough, we are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Science Teacher to inspire and educate Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Position Overview
- Commencement : September 2024
- Duration : Full-time, Permanent
- Location : Tower Hamlets, London
- Remuneration : Competitive salary aligned with Main / Upper Pay Scale (MPS / UPS),
reflecting experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, innovative science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Create a stimulating learning environment that fosters scientific curiosity and inquiry
- Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to promote growth
- Actively contribute to departmental initiatives and collaborate with colleagues
- Remain abreast of current pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Science or a related discipline
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Demonstrated experience teaching science at the secondary level (KS3 / 4)
- Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
