Secondary English Teacher (KS3-5) - Croydon
We is delighted to partner with an Ofsted "Outstanding" secondary school in Croydon, seeking a dynamic and accomplished English Teacher to join their high-performing department in September.
This permanent, full-time position offers a unique platform for an educator to shape young minds and contribute to the school's continued success.
The Role
The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for English language and literature,
inspiring students across KS3, KS4, and KS5 to achieve their academic potential.
Key responsibilities include :
- Designing and delivering engaging lessons that foster a love of learning.
- Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Developing and implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assessing student progress through regular formative and summative evaluations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the department's teaching strategies and resources.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess :
- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to professional development and staying abreast of educational trends.
