A number of outstanding schools in Newham are seeking passionate and motivated Health and Social Care Teachers (QTS) to join their thriving departments from September 2024.
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals and social workers,
while contributing to schools with a strong commitment to student success.
The Role :
- Full-time, permanent position starting September 2024 (or sooner if possible).
- Teach Health and Social Care at GCSE or A-Level level (please specify in your application).
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that explore vital social issues, healthcare systems, and personal development tailored to the diverse needs of Newham students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a rigorous and relevant Health and Social Care curriculum.

Who We Are Looking For :
- A qualified Health and Social Care Teacher (QTS) with a passion for inspiring young people.
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at the specified level is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as well.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to fostering critical thinking skills, social justice, and cultural awareness.
- The ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students to explore sensitive topics.
