The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Food Technology Teacher to join their growing department.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, plan, and deliver engaging and stimulating Food Technology lessons for students of all abilities across the curriculum.
- Promote a love of food and a deep understanding of food science principles.
- Equip students with the practical skills and knowledge to navigate the kitchen with confidence.
- Foster creativity and exploration within the curriculum, encouraging students to experiment and develop their culinary skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Food Technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment within the Food Technology rooms.
- Play a collaborative role within the department, supporting colleagues and ensuring a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide initiatives to enhance the learning experience for students.
- Continuously develop your professional knowledge and skills.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Food Technology Teacher with a strong track record of success in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging and practical lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
