Job overview

Based at Prestwich Hospital, at our purpose built and renovated children's services.

The Day Service is a nurse led therapeutic service that aims to support young people aged 12 17, to try to better manage their thoughts and feelings, through the joint exploration of their strengths and needs.

Those young people attending Day Service will attend for a period of 6-8 weeks where they will have access to education at our on-site Cloughside College.

Young People can attend 4 days a week 9am 3pm, where they are supported by nurses and a support time recovery worker.

Our mission is to work with external services to support young people who are transitioning back into a community setting and back into education.







Our service supports young people to be safely managed in the community and avoid a tier 4 admission.

- Pay Enhancements 30% additional for Evenings (8pm onwards) and Saturdays and 60% additional for Sundays and Bank holidays.
