OverallPurpose :
Toprovide highquality legal advice and support within the Litigation& Dispute Resolution Department contributing to the ongoingdevelopment of both the department and thefirm.

Requirements
Deliverhighquality timely and professional advice on a diverse range oflitigation matters including contentious probate TOLATA propertydisputes commercial / company disputes insolvency professionalnegligence and debt claims.
Manage cases ranging from Small Claimsto MultiTrack and conduct site visits and external meetings asnecessary.
Representclients (both claimants and defendants) throughout all phases oflitigation including drafting pleadings managing disclosure andoverseeing trial settlement and appealprocesses.
Undertakeadvocacy on behalf of clients at preliminary and possessionhearings utilizing inperson telephone or videolinkformats.
Draftcourt documents witness statements pleadings and court forms inaccordance with CPR prepare cost schedules / Form H budgets andcompile court and mediationbundles.
Instructand liaise with external counsel whenrequired.
Collaboratewith the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team to manageclient inquiries via email telephone and inperson following thefirm s new inquiries policy.
Develop a personal caseload throughreferrals and marketingefforts.
Assistcolleagues with their files asneeded.
Effectivelymanage the financial aspects of client files ensuring compliancewith companyprocedures.
Meetand exceed performance targets including billing time recording andcaseload management while maintaining confidentiality of allcompany and clientinformation.
Performother duties as assigned by the LineManager.
Conductregular file reviews and audits ensuring compliance and qualitystandards.
