Our esteemed school in West London, ranked among the top 6% of schools nationally, seeks a talented and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our dynamic faculty.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) allowance, offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role :
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across all year groups,
adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of science, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core scientific concepts, experimental methods, and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.
- Take on a leadership role within the Science department, such as leading a specific subject area or coordinating a particular project.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Science and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a single-sex learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being.
- Has a proven track record of successful teaching, with a particular emphasis on engaging students and fostering a love of learning.
- Is committed to providing high-quality instruction and supporting students' academic growth.
