We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a talented Professional Indemnity Underwriter. This company is well-renowned for providing innovative insurance solutions, and uses its ingenuity to insure risks that others can’t. This position has arisen as a result of the promotion of a Senior Underwriter into a technical line manager role, which is testament to the impressive career progression that is available within the company due to its continuous growth.

Working within the renewals team of the specialist Financial Lines Division, you’ll be dealing with a wide variety of Professional and Management risks, and wider financial lines risks, including Cyber and Technology risks.





This is an area of considerable growth for the company and a great opportunity to join an established but growing team. This team is often an integral part of projects developing the book and improving the way they do business.

Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, underwriting large and complex renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, as well as developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business. You’ll provide excellent service to brokers, prioritising renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met. Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference.

You must have strong experience within the Financial Lines arena, and candidates from a variety of specialisms (such as Professional Indemnity, D&O; or Cyber), will be considered.





You’ll also have a proven ability to renew business whilst maintaining underwriting discipline. As you’ll be regularly dealing with brokers, you’ll have excellent written and spoken communication skills, together with a good track record in building and developing relationships.
