Job description
STS Aviation Services is seeking a Lead Licensed B1 Engineer , type-rated on 737, 787, and A320, to join our growing line station operations in Birmingham .
The successful candidate will oversee Line Maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements and Line Maintenance procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a defined work zone, coordinating daily tasks and resources to meet targets.
- Certify specific aircraft types.
- Provide technical guidance and support to allocated staff.
- Assist Check Manager with individual development and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Part 66 Licence B1, B2, or B1 / B2.
- Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician.
- Strong supervisory skills and commitment to STS core values.
