Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver well-structured drama lessons to primary and secondary school students.
- Inspire and motivate students to explore their creativity and express themselves through drama.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement innovative drama programs.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning and performance.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Contribute to school-wide events,
such as productions and performances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching drama to primary and / or secondary school students.
- Strong knowledge of drama techniques, theatrical history, and playwriting.
- Ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for drama education and a commitment to student success.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
