About the Role :
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our vibrant Food Technology department. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons to students of all abilities, fostering a love of food and a passion for culinary exploration.
You will be expected to :
- Develop and deliver a stimulating curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum for Food Technology, ensuring a progressive and engaging learning experience.
- Employ creative and effective teaching methods to motivate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety within the Food Technology department.
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of departmental initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider life of the academy, fostering a positive and collaborative school environment.
About You :
- You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food Technology or a closely related subject.
- You have a proven track record of delivering successful Food Technology lessons, with a demonstrable ability to raise student attainment.
- You are an enthusiastic and passionate educator with a strong commitment to student development.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- You demonstrate a high level of organization and planning, with the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
- You are committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
