Girls' Physical Education Teacher Sought for Prestigious Hackney Secondary School
We are currently partnering with an esteemed girls' secondary school in Hackney, seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Girls' Physical Education Teacher to join their dedicated staff on a full-time, permanent basis commencing this September.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a passion for fostering physical literacy and athletic development in young women to make a significant impact within a supportive and high-achieving educational environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum and school's specific pedagogical approach.

- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure individual and collective achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, coaching sports teams, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience for all students.
Candidate Profile :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Physical Education.
- Demonstrated experience teaching PE to secondary school students, ideally within a girls' school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of physical activities and sports, with the ability to adapt teaching styles to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
- A genuine passion for girls' education and the unique role that physical education plays in empowering young women.
