Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive French / Spanish lessons to secondary school students, ensuring adherence to the national curriculum and the school's guidelines.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Assess student progress, provide regular feedback, and devise strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular initiatives and enhance students' learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in school events, professional development programs, and staff meetings as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a French / Spanish teacher in a secondary school setting.
- Extensive knowledge of the national curriculum and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize workloads.
- The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational advancements.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and relevant teaching qualifications (QTS, PGCE, etc.).
