Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education : A degree in Primary Education or a relevant field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : Certification as a qualified teacher in the UK.
Professional Experience
- Teaching Experience : Previous experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with a focus on Key Stage 1 (Year 2).
- Curriculum Knowledge : Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England,
particularly for Key Stage 1.
Skills and Abilities
- Classroom Management : Effective strategies for managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Lesson Planning : Ability to design engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning needs and styles.
- Assessment : Competence in assessing student progress and using data to inform instruction.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Technology Proficiency : Familiarity with educational technology and its application in the classroom.
