The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Computing Science Teacher to join our esteemed Science and Technology Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing Science education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
This is a fantastic opportunity to ignite a passion for computing in our students within a supportive and forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver dynamic and challenging lessons in Computing Science.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
About You
The ideal candidate will :
- Hold a degree in Computing Science or a related field.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a proven track record of successful teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and well-being.
- Be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- Show willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
