About the role
In this role, you will be working alongside a diverse and highly experienced team on a range of high-profile projects. You will be responsible for the assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects,
ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage to produce accurate designs
- Ensure compliance with design standards and regulations, including DMRB and CDM
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Contribute to the development of the company's overall skillset and competencies
- Support work winning activities and act as a brand ambassador for the company
- Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Job Requirements
- HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, KeySign, KeyLine, and Microsoft applications
- Technical knowledge and experience in the assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects
- Familiarity with pavement materials and design of road improvement schemes
- Experience with design standards and regulations including DMRB, TSRGD, LCDS, MfS2, and Traffic Signs Manual
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and its application in scheme delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Highway design experience
- Chartered or nearing chartered with a relevant professional body
