Part time Lecturer in Science (0.4 FTE)

Part time Lecturer in Science (0.4 FTE) The role :
- Start : September 2024
- Permanent contract
- Part-time : 14.5 hours a week over 2 days
- Responsible to : Curriculum Co-ordinator
- Delivery will focus on : Level 2 and Level 3 Applied Science
- The role will involve marking coursework and lesson planning
- Work alongside a supportive Senior Leadership Team
- Supporting students’ University applications and overseeing personal statements
- Providing UCAS references
- Opportunities for career progression with potential for TLR promotions down the line
Candidate specification What the college are looking for :
- UK QTS
- NQTs are welcome to apply
- 2 : 1 or 1st class degree, in a relevant course
- Strong academic background
- Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades
- Hold a level 3 teaching qualification or be working towards an FE teaching qualification
- Experience in the 3 key areas of science, along with the relevant qualifications
- Strong classroom management
