Academics LTD currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Food Technology Teacher based at an excellent secondary school in the Henley-On-Thames area.
We are looking for someone proactive and hardworking who feels passionate about working in a secondary school environment and can support children to learn and thrive whilst maintaining the schools high standard of behaviour.

Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a diverse range of students' needs and abilities.
- Teach fundamental principles of food technology, including food safety, nutrition, culinary techniques, and food science.
- Organize practical cooking sessions, allowing students to develop hands-on skills in the kitchen.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
- Assess student progress through various methods, such as assignments, projects,
and practical demonstrations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning experience for all.
Requirements :
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of food technology concepts and principles.
- Experience in teaching food technology at the secondary level preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring students and fostering their love for food and cooking.
