The Role
We are hiring a Network Engineering Apprentice . This will be a 2-year programme where you will gain the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to become an expert in network planning, installation and maintenance.
Throughout the programme you will learn how to :
- Install, configure, and test appropriate network components
- Acquire and analyse network performance data to monitor network activity
- Optimise and maintain the performance of network systems
- Investigate and problem solve network issues
- Undertake upgrades to a network infrastructure
- Manage risks and health and safety
- Ensure all network engineering activity complies policies and standards
About You
- Passionate and interested in Network Engineering
- Desirable qualifications :
- an A-Level in ICT
- OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT
- OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
- OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Face-to-face working in an office-based environment experience desirable
