Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Accounts Payable Clerk for a business based in Bridgwater.

This opportunity is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : 12 months

Salary range DOE : £25,000 - £26,000

Working hours - 37.5 hours a week

Role includes :

- Ensure Company Suppliers are paid in accordance with their terms and conditions
- Supplier communication : Query resolution
- Regular review of invoices not cleared for payment and actively resolving issues, including chasing business approval of invoices
- Payment runs
- Daily management of the Purchase Ledger inbox






- Ensures all action is taken to prevent and manage any underpayments / over-payments to Suppliers
- Providing cover for other team members as and when required

Skills / Experience needed :

- Experience of working in a finance environment - Ideally with purchase ledger
- Experience with SAP - Desirable
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
- High attention to detail
