What you will be doing as a Field Service Engineer :
- Attending customer’s sites to service their garage equipment in your area
- Repairing customers garage equipment back to good working order
- Attending planned services as well as reactive breakdowns
- Working with the service support team on your schedule and communicating any issues and updates to them
- Quoting repairs to customers
- Completing service reports and job notes
- Reporting unsafe notices correctly
- Reporting potential sales leads to the sales and marketing teams
What you’ll need to succeed as a Field Service Engineer :
- Previous experience within an automotive workshop is ESSENTIAL working on cars, vans, lorries. Any experience level will be considered
- You MUST have Mechanical engineering experience
- Ideally you will have experience with electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment
- A full clean driving license is ESSENTIAL
- You will be personable and be able to communicate with clients onsite
- You will be a natural problem solver and keen to learn
- You MUST be happy travelling covering the whole of your area
