Technology Risk & Resilience Specialist VP
City of London
Contract Inside IR35 PAYE- Hybrid
£440 £620 per day
cer Financial are working alongside a bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Technology Risk & Resilience Specialist VP to work with them on a contract.
The Technology Risk and Resilience Specialist will act as Resilience Risk and Controls, Policies and Procedures lead providing expertise, input, and support for the delivery of Technology Resilience function.
This includes the definition of processes, frameworks and training required to embed the outcomes of the programs in flight.
The Responsibilities of a Security Technology Risk & Resilience Specialist VP Will Include :
- Deliver Quick wins by Mar 24. e.g., clarification of roles and responsibilities at L1 and L2 process and control levels, risk and metric review and definition.
- Refine and consolidate technology risk and issues communication channels implement first line risk foundations training in London (and EMEA) working in collaboration with second line.
- Review and refine the existing IT processes and controls expectations across the business, consolidate into a single framework and augment as required.
- Define technology policies and standards that underpin technology operations procedures in compliance with regulatory expectations across EMEA region.
- Produce an Information Technology Resilience framework with a focus on Business Resilience integration. This looks at enhancing the relationship technology has with the business with a focus on how technology must securely enable the business.
- Work with NA, rest of EMEA region on any changes required to shared services and processes,
liaise with reams outside the IT function such as TPRM, Data Management Office, Information Security, to ensure proper alignment and process integration where needed.
The Successful Security Technology Risk & Resilience Specialist VP Will Have :
Technology Risk and Resilience Frameworks (e.g., NIST / ISO27001 / COBIT / ITIL) as well as Regulatory Technology Risk & Resilience frameworks and experience (Bank of England, FCA / PRA).
European Regulations would be advantageous.
- Risk management including risk and control mapping, performance metrics.
