Job description
Robert Half has been retained to recruit a Head of Tax and Treasury for a private equity-backed business in the Midlands.
As the Head of Tax and Treasury, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategies that drive the company's growth and value creation.
About the Role
This role calls for a strategic and analytical leader capable of managing the company's tax and treasury functions efficiently.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and external stakeholders to ensure optimal tax positions and effective treasury management aligned with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of tax planning and compliance,
- Develop and implement strategies for optimal treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and risk management.
- Lead initiatives to improve tax efficiencies and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with financial and executive teams to align tax and treasury strategies with business goals.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience in tax and treasury within a private equity environment.
- Proven track record of successful financial strategy development and implementation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Qualified accountant, Tax or Treasury qualifications
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
