Head of Timetabling

We would like you to bring your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to this key position, where you will be responsible for the annual delivery of personalised timetables to all students leading the central timetabling team and for all other aspects of student timetabling operations.
Our University has well-established protocols and processes for timetabling, following a successful project to move from locally to centrally produced timetables over the past few years.
In this role you will take the lead on the further enhancement of the timetabling arrangements,
particularly in relation to the sourcing and implementation of a new timetabling system which supports efficient timetabling processes and the education and student experience priorities of the institution.
This role involves significant partnership working with the University's Schools, Students Union, other professional services and senior management which will require you to deploy your expertise to resolve complex operational issues collaboratively.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have :
- Previous timetabling experience within the HE Sector
- Excellent planning, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritise to meet strategic initiatives
- Strong communicator, able to negotiate and influence others effectively at all levels, both orally and in writing.
