We have a current opportunity for a Head of Facilities on a 9 month contract basis. The position will be based in Southampton / home and will involve UK travel.

This is a 9 month interim role with possibility of going perm if desired.

The Property and Facilities team at Maritime and Coastal Agency are currently going through a significant restructure and there is a new TFM contract coming online from February .

The newly formed leadership team within P&F; consists of Assistant Director Property & Facilities (myself), a Head of Property (onboard) and the yet to be recruited, Head of Facilities.







The Interim Head of FM will form part of that leadership team and would be expected to form the lead on :

- FM matters across the very diverse portfolio of properties.
- Be the SME in FM matters
- Work with key leaders and stakeholders in defining and implementing the P&F; Strategy.
- Drive the team in personal and team development
- Demobilise the existing TFM contract and mobilise the new, in line with the TFM provider's mobilisation plan.

The P&F; team are based in Southampton supporting properties across the UK. MCA are supportive of flexible / hybrid working and this role will entail an element of national travel.

In line with current Government guidelines and to establish a relationship with the team and stakeholders there will be a requirement to be in the office around 60% of the working week.

This will include any time spent 'on site' at other locations.
