I am advising a PE backed organisation in the Media and Entertainment sector with hiring a Corporate Development Manager. M&A; is a key growth lever for the business and you would be joining a well established M&A; function with a focus on global deals.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone to step into Corporate Development directly from an advisory firm, and I welcome applications at Assistant Manager/Manager level from the Big 4 or Top 10 (Lead Advisory or Transaction Services), alongside a keen interest in the media sector.
Duties include:
- Work across the deal cycle, identifying and assessing potential target opportunities, negotiate terms, manage due diligence advisors and review transaction documentation
- Review potential partnerships, joint ventures
- Prepare investment papers and board presentations
- Involvement in post-acquisition integration efforts
- Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis of acquisition targets, oversee advisors and provide insights/recommendations to the leadership team.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Key Requirements:
- Trained in Lead Advisory/Transaction Services
- Strong valuations and financial modelling experience
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
An interest in Media is essential, along with exposure to people-led deals in the lower mid-market.
