Johnson Hana is seeking to hire a Data Protection Consultant / Incident response support specialist for an upcoming project stating the beginning of January with a large international tech company. This project will range from 12-18 months in length. Weekly hourly commitment to the project will be 40 hours. This contract is hybrid,
we would require the consultant in office 3 days per week in the London office.
Key Skills & experience:
- Support a team of lawyers in the assessment and notification of personal data breaches and security incidents under relevant European legislation (i.e., GDPR, ePD, EECC, NIS-D).
- Support on the engagement with the relevant European regulators, in relation to reported breaches.
- Draft relevant documentation to comply with incident notification requirements.
- Support on high-impact projects to develop and improve the incident management and response program.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to implement improvements to policies and processes.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor
- 4+ years of relevant experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience.
- In depth knowledge of GDPR, ePD, EECC, NIS D incident reporting requirements.
- Experience working with regulators and responding to regulatory enquiries.
- Project management mindset and strong organisational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills,
and attention to detail
