Job description

Chestnut lodge is a newly refurbished 45 bedded mental health nursing home, opening in 2024. As a business we are dedicated to providing quality care and innovative services.

Our goal is to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported.

As a nurse, you will provide swift and decisive clinical care to ensure our service users are safe and well cared for. Leading from the front, you will you uphold the culture and represent the core values of the business, at Chestnut lodge.

Key Responsibilities of the nurse include :







- Assist in the development and delivery of care plans
- Work as a primary nurse for a group of service users as required by the home manager
- Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concern to the manager
- Support our service users with every day activities
- Play a significant role in assisting and encouraging service users to engage in therapeutic activities and organised events designed to help them increase their skills and independence

The successful candidate for the nurse position will have :

- Current registration with active NMC pin
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Full training and support will be provided and opportunities for career development are encouraged.
