Our client a an Iconic online fashion / apparel brand selling globally are looking to recruit an experienced HEAD OF MARKETING - E-COMMERCE DIGITAL MARKETING to join their team in central Manchester to lead and deliver a digital and ecommerce strategy for the brands across 3 websites in the UK / EUROPE./ SOUTH AMERICA
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in D2C online fashion/ sports/ activewear brand delivering great results and conversant with managing E-commerce websites, PPC, Google Shopping, Social, Content, CRM, Conversion, Merchandising and trading calendar.

About The Role:
This role is a great opportunity to be part of a uniquely structured company with big future ambitions and which is well placed to achieve them. There is a significant opening for the right candidate to take over the e-commerce activities of a truly icon brand that has recently returned to trend, in a huge way. Then, to also develop our other brands e-commerce operations from concept to scale while
building a team along the way.
The role :
Working closely with the Founders you will take responsibility for the overall results and P&L;'s for marketing and ecommerce.
You will have full ownership of operational KPIs – Revenue, Profit, Customer Acquisition, Retention, lifetime value and international growth
Management of a significant budget
Develop a growing digital and ecommerce team
Responsibilities Include:
• Managing the ongoing Design and Development of 3 e-commerce websites for UK and Europe/ South America
• Responsible for optimisations to navigation, collections, search, and homepage.
• Incorporate Best Practices into our current websites on an ongoing basis.
• Responsible for regular reporting on website performance and customer experience metrics.
• Developing SEO/PPC strategy and marketing plans and present budget forecasting on quarterly and annual time-scales.
• Identify and report on trends in trading performance and develop sales forecasts for peak trading periods.
• Measure online conversion and identify tactics internally and with third parties to imp rove conversion rates.
• Monitor competitor and web sales trends to ensure web offer and experience is in line with customer expectations.
• Manage product launch calendar and collaborate with the design team to upload content to the site.
• Monitor stock holding and report weekly on the site cover and work collaboratively with merchandising and logistics team to plan and maintain a sufficient stock holding.
• Determine shot lists for photoshoots depending on assets/emails needed, based on selling, inventory, trends, etc.
About You:
• 5+ years of related experience in e-commerce digital marketing at a management level/ for a successful online fashion/ sports brands
• Deep understanding and strong technical ability with Shopify/Shopify+ and technical experience with ecommerce platforms in general.
• Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels
• Apparel and/or footwear industry experience highly preferred.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational and project management skills essential.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, dealing with ambiguity.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Possess a forward-thinking working ethic to drive the business forward.
