Exciting Opportunity: Legal & Compliance Manager (London) – to start ASAP – 12 month contract
We are working with a cutting-edge exciting player in the life science space who is looking to take on a Legal & Compliance Manager in London on a twelve months contract to start ASAP, where you'll play a vital role in shaping their Legal and Compliance Programme. You'll be the go-to expert for the UK Leadership Team where you have a real voice, providing top-notch legal and compliance services and ensuring informed decision-making while navigating risks. The product is incredible,
innovative and ground breaking and given the business is in start-up mode there is a real opportunity to create and build something here and you would be part of the journey from the beginning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Guidance: Ensure the business adheres to UK laws, compliance standards, and data privacy regulations.
- Contract Management: Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with precision and insight.
- Investigative Support: Collaborate with the Head of Legal and Compliance on government inquiries and internal audits.
- Risk Mitigation: Assess compliance risks and implement strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Promote a culture of compliance awareness and facilitate communication across teams.
