Based in Central London, we’re looking for an Account Director with experience leading across a varied client portfolio to join our brilliant Client Services team. This role is being offered as an eighth month FTC to provide maternity cover for one of our team.

This role would be a compelling opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role, looking for a new environment and a different set of challenges, or for a Senior Account Manager who is ready to step up into an Account Director position.

Using your broad set of account management skills, you’ll own an impressive portfolio of new and existing B2B & B2C clients.

Our working arrangements require three days per week in the office as a minimum. This is a deliberate and thoughtful choice that is aligned with an emphasis on collaboration, ideation and creativity - themes that are crucial components of Poppins’ culture and directly influence not only our internal ways of working, but use of our incredible office space.





You are given the trust and autonomy to work in a way that prioritises your client relationships and we are looking for people who are prepared to provide the additional flexibility needed to decrease work from home days and/or commute to be present with clients in a variety of locations - including their own offices - as necessary.

About the Opportunity

The Client Services team is looking for an Account Director who can take ownership of an active and engaged selection of B2B & B2C customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being in a senior position in a team where you balance supporting & mentoring others with working with a variety of clients,





helping such brands effectively position and communicate their products, solutions and services.

Taking ownership of the Client from initial pitch/SOW stage through to delivery, you will be ultimately responsible for the relationship, ensuring that the quality of work delivered meets the expectations of the client. Your approach to quality is also reflected in your commitment to following internal processes that support project delivering, using the Agency comms tools and documentation to support a consistent client experience.

Given the rich and varied nature of what we do, you’ll be working across a variety of integrated projects, with an initial focus on social, web & paid advertising solutions.







The Client Services team at this agency hold delivery management responsibilities so you will oversee the end to end delivery of the solution. You’ll be managing client budgets, team time and resourcing of your projects. Taking a lead role with the team you’ll actively contribute to the development and evolution of standards and processes with the team that enable us to deliver a first class client experience.

Being a creative, ideas led business, you’ll stay abreast of creative trends and the creative direction of your clients.

About You

You’ll have a growth mindset and be able to embrace new challenges. You’ll have experience as either an Account Director, or Senior Account Manager, delivering integrated solutions to a B2B and B2C client portfolio. And,





in addition you’ll demonstrate the following:

- An impressive ability to engage effectively and authentically with corporate clients.
- Team leadership and/or mentoring skills where you have supported individuals to Senior Account Manager level within a Client Services team.
- Experience of working with social, web or paid advertising solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to concisely deliver impactful messages, internally and externally.
- Organisation skills that are impressive and efficient; you’ll be able to balance the demands of running multiple projects and work streams.
- Have proven ability to protect the integrity and maintain consistency of tone of voice across all relevant communication channels and assets.







You will ultimately be responsible for Client delivery which means balancing a variety of responsibilities. Not focused just on a commercial outcome, this position will not be fulfilling for someone that expects the delivery management to be handled by a separate team.
