Role Overview:
As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making across our product teams. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and senior stakeholders to analyse user behavior, uncover insights, and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
This is a key role in a high-impact team where your analysis will directly shape the direction of our product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Analysis & Insights:
- Perform deep-dive analysis into customer behavior, product performance, and funnel metrics to inform decision-making.
- Provide actionable insights that will influence product development, feature enhancements, and customer experience improvements.
- Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues within the product.
- A/B Testing & Experimentation:
- Design, implement, and analyse A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and product changes.
- Guide product teams through experimentation best practices, ensuring rigorous methodologies and statistically sound results.
- Data-Driven Product Strategy:
- Collaborate with product teams to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new features and initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to shape the product roadmap, leveraging data to prioritize initiatives based on potential impact.
- Advanced Analytics & Modeling:
- Build and maintain predictive models to forecast product performance, customer retention, and other key metrics.
- Develop customer segmentation models to enhance personalization efforts and target high-value users.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders, helping them understand complex data and its implications.
- Act as a trusted advisor to product managers and senior leadership, influencing product strategy through data insights.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product analytics, data analysis,
or business intelligence in a high-growth, data-driven environment.
- Strong expertise in SQL and advanced proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
- Experience with statistical modeling and A/B testing, with a deep understanding of experimental design and evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Experience in e-commerce or a tech scale-up environment is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for product and business teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for making data-driven decisions that improve the user experience.
