The firm stands at 30 members of staff. The practice is well-run with a solid leadership team, and the firm is highly profitable. The firm has an excellent track record of mentoring, developing, and nurturing their legal talent, a good example of this is two members of the team that started as paralegals and have just been made up to Partner. An advantage of being at a firm of their size is they reward based on merit and they do not have the corporate red tape and bureaucracy of larger practices.

The firm has three distinct practice areas, Corporate, Litigation, and Property. A lot of the work that they do is intertwined throughout the departments. The firm has an excellent client base and continues to receive a large proportion of all its work from referrals.

Despite the firm's size, you will find it common to work on the other side of much larger practices.
The role
The firm is seeking a Corporate Commercial Senior Associate / Partner to join the firm's vibrant office in the heart of the West End of London.
The firm currently has a corporate commercial team of three. The department is currently very busy and they have an influx of new work.
The partner in the department is undertaking more in the way of IT work. As such, the firm is seeking to hire a new Partner to come into the department to work closely with the current Partner.
The plan is that the new partner will take more of the general corporate commercial work, allowing the partner to focus more on IT matters. The firm has solid plans to grow this department and they see this new hire being pivotal and will work with the partner and the firm's wider partnership to drive the department forwards.

Requirements
- You will be a Corporate Commercial Solicitor with at least six years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
- Experience of business development is of advantage
- You should have first-class client and communication skills
- The firm is open minded regarding the candidates background
- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on the candidates background
