An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Heathfield. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children, particularly those with additional needs.
Role Overview:
This role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them overcome learning barriers and supporting their progress in line with their peers. While experience in a similar role or SEN qualifications are desirable, a positive attitude, patience, and a passion for working with children are just as important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with SEN in overcoming learning barriers.
- Support students' progress alongside their peers.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team to make a meaningful impact on young learners.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or relevant SEN qualifications (desirable but not essential).
- A positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children.
