Job Title: Social Media and Content Manager
Location: Cheadle Hulme, Manchester
Position: Full-Time
We’re currently looking for a Social Media and Content Manager with a talent for creating viral content and a passion for all things beauty and fashion to join our team at gee.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and oversee all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice across channels.
- Collaborate with our content creator to plan, create, and schedule posts, ensuring alignment with our brand strategy and marketing goals.
- Stay current with social media trends and continuously generate fresh,
creative ideas for content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
- Provide feedback on video edits and content, ensuring quality and alignment with brand aesthetics. Familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus, but we’re happy to teach.
- Develop and implement effective social media strategies, constantly seeking ways to improve and adapt our approach to stay ahead of the competition.
- Storytelling skills to create compelling narratives that engage our audience and drive conversions.
- Oversee the creation of content for blogs, newsletters, and our website, ensuring consistency in messaging and quality.
- Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, UGC creators, and celebrity stylists to enhance our brand presence and collaboration opportunities.
- Oversee and tweak social media, newsletter, and blog designs, ensuring they are visually appealing and on-brand.
Who We’re Looking For:
- You have a genuine passion for content creation and are actively engaged in social media trends,
continuously learning and experimenting with new ideas.
- You’re always aware of current trends in hair, beauty, and fashion, and know how to adapt content accordingly.
- You can think outside the box, bringing innovative ideas to the table and executing them effectively.
- You’re able to manage, provide constructive feedback, and seamlessly integrate content from different team members.
- Strong communication skills and a meticulous approach to organisation are essential, as you'll be managing multiple content streams.
- Familiarity with social media management tools, video editing software, and analytics platforms is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important.
