Full Stack Product Engineer
Green Tech | TypeScript | London | Software Engineer | Start-Up | Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)
Location:London, Hybrid. (1-2 days a week onsite)
Salary:Up to £125,000 + Benefits + Equity. We are open to Mid - Principal level engineers so salary will reflect your experience & ability.
Experienced full stack software engineer required by a "Green Tech" start-up revolutionising the logistics industry through technology. You will work in a small, high performing engineering team working directly with 2 principal engineers + 1 designer. If you are interested in working for an expanding,
award winning green tech start-up who are modernising a Jurassic industry in a problem space we can all relate to then you are urged to apply!
Whilst its expected that you will have a bias towards frontend or backend, senior engineers should be happy and comfortable working across the full stack. You will have commercial experience working in a React/TypeScript ecosystem and TypeScript will likely be your primary language. You will enjoy solving real world problems through technology and delivering outstanding customer experience!
It is imperative that engineers come from a product background. You will be customer obsessed and ideally have experience speaking directly to the users of your products (or have an interest in doing this!). This company is under 200 in size and going through exciting growth - the ideal software engineer will have experience in smaller environments where ambiguity, ownership and impact excites you!
Full Stack Product Engineer Requirements:
- 4 years+ minimum experience as a Software Engineer; they are open to mid - principal level engineers for this role.
- Competent working across the full stack (we appreciate you will likely have a bias towards backend or frontend in your everyday job!).
- Strong commercial experience working with TypeScript.
- Experience working with React.
- Experience deploying to public cloud, they use Google Cloud.
- Customer obsessed and experience working in a product company.
- Experience in a start up / scale up environment.
- Able to demonstrate impact that you have had.
- Able to work from a London office 1-2 days per week. During probation you will work 2 days per week onsite to get to meet the team and up to speed with their ways of working. After this you can work 1 day per week from their office.

Interview Process:
1. Video Interview with Engineering Manager - Discovery call.
2. 90 minute technical task. You have the choice of doing a remote paired programming exercise OR a take home test.
3. Systems Design Interview.
