Winsford Swimming Club in Cheshire is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic suitably qualified Swimming Coach to assist our coaching team and continue to build on the success of our swimming club

At Winsford Swimming Club, we pride ourselves in providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals in the sport of swimming,





whilst aspiring to be an elite club focused on the effective development of talent, competing at the highest levels, regionally and nationally.

The Level 2-qualified Coach role will assist our established coaching team to inspire, motivate and support swimmers at all levels. They must be highly enthusiastic and share the club's ethos of hard work and commitment alongside fun and fulfilment.

The Swimming Coach will report as part of our coaching team structure and assist in creating and delivering session plans, working with individual swimmers on goal setting as well as contributing to the overall training strategy for the club

Essential experience and qualifications:

- Swim England Swimming Coach Certificate/ASA Level 2 Coaching Award
- Experience with developing swimmers to county, regional and national levels
- Strong technical base and in-depth knowledge of coaching to a range of swimming capabilities
- The ability to communicate effectively with swimmers,





committee and parents/carers in all matters relating to the development of individual swimmers, squads and the club.
- Hold an up-to-date Swim England Safeguarding qualification
- Hold or be prepared to gain a current land-based training qualification appropriate to swimming
- Qualified first aider or prepared to undertake a relevant first aid course
- A full driving license or ability to reach any required locations
- Permit an Enhanced DBS with barring check and provide evidence of the right to work in the UK
- Be a positive role model, maintaining high ethical and moral standards and adhere to Swim England’s Code of Conduct
