Job Title: Specialist Neuro Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 7
Location: London, Greater London
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Our private client is looking for an experienced and caring Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join their neurological service, based in London. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for an ongoing period.
What will your responsibilities be?
The postholder will work within an neurological service with patients who have recently being diagnosed with a neurological event.
The appointed Therapist will be part of the interdisciplinary team (IDT)
delivering high quality specialist occupational therapy for clients by adherence to clinical governance and evidence-based practice. The postholder will provide service in a range of community settings using highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neuro qualifications. Applying therapists should have previous experience in neuro to be considered for this role.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
- Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
- Previous NHS experience within an intermediate care setting
- The ability to build good rapport with patients
- Excellent interpersonal skills
