The Company Trainee Recruitment Consultant
With over 20 years of experience within the Legal Headhunting space, this firm are genuine experts within their space. The Founder has a background working in Financial Recruitment and Legal Recruitment and saw space to combine the two to up their success.
With average fees of £48k and a commission structure scaling to 45%, you can only imagine the potential in earnings at this firm. They have had multiple people earn upwards of £100k in their first year, with the average OTE around the £50k-£60k mark.
The firm values relationship building, and all their work is done in person. You will meet with both Law Firms and Lawyers on a weekly basis, not only exposing you to your client and candidate base but assisting you in learning everything you need to be successful in the industry.
The Benefits Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Base salary of £28k, rising to £32k after your first promotion (6-12 months)
- Uncapped commission structure rising to 45%, seeing you earn between £50k-£70k in your first year
- Training delivered by the Partners of the business, with consistent 1-1 coaching throughout your whole career
- Transparent career pathway from day one - first promotion within 6-12 months and the chance to make Partner within 5 years
- Options to WFH 1 day per week once you have been promoted
- Lots of in-person contact with your clients and candidates (youll be meeting someone every other day)

The Role Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Business development to win new clients
- Meeting clients to understand their offering and hiring priorities
- Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn, speaking with your network, and advertising
- Interviewing candidates, shortlisting them for clients, preparing them for interviews, and passing on feedback
- Handling any reservations during the process and negotiating the best contract for your candidate at offer stage
- Building your own online brand - creating content relevant to your network
- Consistently advising and consulting your network on market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring
The Ideal Candidate Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Degree educated with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Experience working in a client or customer facing role alongside education
- Commercial understanding and desire to submerse yourself into your market
- Financial drive and ambition to progress within your career
- High work ethic and excellent communication skills
