The Role
This is a new, exciting opportunity, to join our fun and rapidly growing global team. The successful candidate will join Javelin’s Trade Finance team, reporting into the Head of Trade Finance,
and will assist in carrying out all aspects of day-to-day trade finance requirements of Javelin.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
· Prepare and manage financing of business flows under transactional, borrowing base and receivable discounting structures.
· Maintain strong relationships with financing banks and lenders.
· Building strong relationships with all employees at Javelin.
· Manage Javelin’s cash flow position and implement appropriate cash management procedures.
· Liaise with Treasury on cashflow of financed transactions.
· Liaise with Commercial and Operations teams on transactions.
· Reporting and monitoring of trade finance capacity utilisation.
· Drafting and negotiating of import/export letters of credit and documents.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
· Degree educated (preferably a Finance related degree).
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong relationship building skills.
· A proactive and solution orientated approach.
· A capable, enthusiastic individual who is a self-starter, able to work under pressure and comfortable with taking initiative.
· Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
