Description
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
- Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
- Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Participate in strategic decision-making at the senior management level.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
- Handle dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.
- Liaise with external counsel as necessary.
- Provide training to the business on legal matters.
Profile
A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:
- A degree in Law and a valid practising certificate.
- A solid background in commercial law, preferably within the IT/Software industry.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Strong legal risk management and compliance skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
