What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

- Reviewing key areas of H&S; risks for the company and implementing processes to reduce these risks
- Leading the health and safety team to achieve a positive health and safety culture.
- Gaining ‘buy in’ from key decision-makers
- Implement best practice and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Ownership of all of the company’s H&S; documentation and H&S; training materials
- Provide reports to the board of directors as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- NEBOSH General Certificate – minimum
- Working towards Chartership
- People management skills and ability to coach and develop other H&S; professionals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills






- Experience within construction/M& E or electrical installation is preferred
- Ability to manage key stakeholders
- A self-driven and results-oriented attitude
