ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Rotherham Council’s ambitious plans to transform the transport network. As a valued member of the Transportation Infrastructure Service, you'll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team committed to driving social, economic, and environmental progress.
In this role,
you will efficiently manage and prioritise various types of correspondence, ensuring timely responses and excellent customer care, particularly when handling complaints and inquiries. You will support the service by regularly communicating with Members, the public, and secretaries, while also raising purchase orders, managing invoice records, and monitoring key transactions. Additionally, you’ll assist in data collection and analysis, including preparing and managing traffic surveys. Your proactive approach to improving processes and your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be highly valued. Experience in a Personal Assistant role or similar is beneficial.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
