Procurement Manager/Senior Procurement Manager roles – Strategic Procurement Transformation - Directs & Indirects - £55k - £80k + Car & Bonus – Surrey or Manchester (Hybrid) – 2 days a week on sites

This Energy Major is going through an exciting strategic procurement transformation and as a result are recruiting for several newly created roles in their procurement function.
As part of their journey towards best-in-class, they seek procurement professionals with experience across both indirects & directs to join their expanding team.
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategy,
working closely with cross-functional stakeholder groups to ensure goods & services are delivered at quality, in a cost-effective manner
- Operate across either direct or indirect spend areas to identify supplier initiatives and drive relationships/spend
- Manage key supplier relationships ensuring all aspects of the contracts are implemented through carrying out regular reviews and audits, ensuring that maximum value is achieved through the supplier relationship
- Work closely with senior stakeholder groups to drive procurements impact and be present as an escalation when required on supplier queries
Required Experience:
- Strong Strategic procurement experience within a matrix environment
- Highly adept at senior stakeholder engagement to embed and enact procurement policies
- Proven project management skills with ability to drive continuous improvements, savings, and best practices with ability to influence change successfully cross-functionally at multiple levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with a collaborative approach and the ability to develop positive working relationships both internally and externally, particularly with senior stakeholders
- MCIPS/Related degree ideal but not required
