Hydrogen are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading financial institution who are looking to hire a lawyer with alternative funds experience to join their highly regarded Asset Management team as a Senior Legal Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice in relation to fund structuring, investments, regulatory matters and wider strategic matters across a range of asset classes covering PE, credit, VC, infra, Real Estate etc.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product, operations, and risk teams, to provide legal relevant legal advice.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to move in-house where they can broaden their focus to covering a range of fund structures and asset classes.
Requirements:
- Admitted to practice as a solicitor in England & Wales with ideally 4+ years PQE gained in-house or within private practice.
- Experience gained in a leading investment funds team with experience advising on private fund structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
