We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated Nurse who works well in a multi-disciplinary team environment. We seek to maintain high standards of care for our patients and are looking for someone who will enhance our department.

You are welcome to have an informal visit.

Skills & Experience

- Registered Nurse or Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and in sensitive and challenging situations.

Please note all candidates could be asked to work at another Trust site as required.

Soon to be qualified student nurses and ODPs are welcome to apply.

- Undertake all activities in a professional and proficient manner, including mandatory surgical checks prior to the start of the procedure, during and pre wound closure.
- Carry out scrub duties according to policies and procedures, contributing to quality improvement, and promoting best evidence based practice.
- Assemble, check, prepare, and coordinate the use of surgical equipment, drugs and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
- Act in the circulating role, and promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant healthcare professionals.

Our Theatre Practitioners work towards providing high quality patient care within the perioperative setting. We welcome both experience and non-experience staff to join our supportive team.





Training can also be provided to support newly registered practitioners and to those who are looking for a new career direction.

For our successful candidates, we will aid you in the development of your career, and in order to enable this we have a dedicated Practice Development Team to support you. The Trust also provides many other In-house learning opportunities to support your developmental needs.
