Your new companyOur client is one of the premium employers in Northern Ireland. They are growing their finance team and looking for a recently qualified accountant to join their team. This organisation can boast excellent working conditions and a proven track record of promoting their staff from within.
Your new roleYour new role will allow you to learn lots of new skills in Financial and Management accounting and financial business partner. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Financial reporting for a number of different projects






- Tracking the work in progress across the different projects.
- Review of contract costs and update of contract cost accruals and prepayments
- Responsibility for project portfolio, working capital reports, commercial reports & presentation
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to tight deadlines;
- Allocated balance sheet analysis & reconciliations
- Ensure submission of tax and regulatory returns (including monthly CIS, quarterly RCT, quarterly VAT, quarterly government survey returns)
- Delivery of ad hoc financial reports and analysis for senior management meetings
- Month-end journal preparation to assist with the monthly close cycle
- Preparation of statutory and regulatory accounts in line with Financial Reporting standards
- Provision of information for annual statutory accounts;

What you'll need to succeedYou will be a recently qualified accountant who is keen to work in a varied role. You will have strong communication skills and planning and organisation skills.
