About the Role:

Ringway is seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our team on the Southwest Maintenance and Response Contract. You will play a crucial role in providing day-to-day advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a safer, more sustainable future while working closely with operational teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental issues to management and staff.






- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal obligations.
- Collaborate with National Highways Advisors, acting as the primary point of contact for all HSE matters.
- Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Promote and implement Ringway's health, safety, and environmental management systems and procedures.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a high standard of safety across the division.
- Deliver training to operational personnel, empowering them to manage HSE responsibilities effectively.

Key Requirements:

- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or above) and IOSH membership required.
- At least two years' experience in a similar HSE role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to driving improvements.






- Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
